The territorial limits of this district shall be
confined to the Italian Republic and the San Marino
Republic. It is headquartered in Rome.
The territory of this
district shall be divided into
13 divisions.
The Italy District was founded in 1977.
The first italian club was a KC Milano, founded in 1967,
the second a KC Roma in 1972, the third a KC Palermo in
1973, the fourth a KC Catania in 1974.
Today the clubs are 122.
Until 2001/2002, after the constitution
of Kiwanis Club San Marino, the Italy District is called
Italy San Marino District.
The objects of this
district shall be:
a.
To seek within the district and through the clubs of the
district the attainment of the Objects of Kiwanis
International as set forth in the International Bylaws.
b.
To increase the fellowship and cooperative effort of the
clubs within the district.
c.
To cooperate with Kiwanis International in building new
clubs and membership in existing clubs, educating club
members, and strengthening club services within the
district.
d.
To promote participation of clubs in the general
objectives, programs, and policies of the district and
Kiwanis International.
